There is a need to create more opportunities to deepen and promote the culture of comics, illustration, animation and games as supporting instruments for teaching and as expression of the students’ creativity.
Comics, illustration, animation and games, represent among the multi-platform publishing works some of the most enjoyed by young generations.
The contest allows students to implement projects after having chosen their own artistic language: Comics; Illustration; Animation; Games; Visual arts.
Students of all school levels may attend the contest, whether individuals or groups, and they should deepen socio-cultural issues as covered by the notice of competition, through the narration of a story expressed with a language of imagination (comics, illustration, animation and games).
The final prize will be assigned at students or groups that will have developed in a original and creative way the issues in question. The winners , will be awarded during a ceremony that will be held within the event “Romics –International Festival of comics, animation, cinema and games” scheduled to take place in Rome, from 6 to 9 April 2017.
