Alessandro Piccinelli picked up the heavy heritage left by Gallieno Ferri becoming the new cover-artist of Zagor. Born in Como in 1975, Piccinelli once graduated decided to attend a specialization course at the Scuola del Fumetto of Milan. In 1997 started his collaboration as illustrator for the "Corriere di Como" and then he continued his career, as a complete author, in the magazine "M.A.R.E" and for publisher Meroni Editore always as illustrator. After the year 2001 and after having made some quick drawings for Zagor, he joined the staff of the Spirit with the Hatchet debutting with the quadruple adventure "Huron! Starting from May 2006. After Zagor he also joined the team of Tex. On the first of October he will make his debut as cover-artist of Zagor with "Zenith 666".
Alessandro Piccinelli will be present at Romics during the XX edition to describe the artistic journey which led him to become the cover-artist of Zagor, and the great emotion which accompanied him in the making of his first cover of Zagor that follows the last one illustrated by the unforgettable Gallieno Ferri , an encounter with the artist of Como that will not fail to excite the followers of Zagor.
